Update

Good news is that my left knee has recovered from the fight with the ottoman! Boy, do I feel foolish when I get hurt doing something as mundane as trying to put my feet up to watch TV! Bad news is that I have the dreaded head cold that's going around. I feel like I'm going around in a bubble, quite disconnected. Therefore, it was rather amusing to me that I was on the computrainer for the last hour of AToC Stage 2, doing a small climb when the tour riders were ascending and then descending 'with' them as well. I had the computrainer window on the laptop screen and I had the cycling.TV window on the TV screen. See the devil?

Silas watched a few bits of the race, but both dogs were pretty underwhelmed as usual. Saffy alternates between sleeping and staring at my right foot going around like she is mesmerized.

I'm going to try to keep up with little trainer rides while I'm feeling crummy. The legs actually don't feel too bad though everything else aches and the AToC coverage definitely helps with motivation.

I thought it was funny when either Phil or Paul commented that the devil looked like he was in pretty good shape because he chased Moncebo (sp) for a good bit. My puppy Boone gets right under my pedals - so he has been banned from spin room.

I was impressed with his speed and endurance too! He kept running up the hill for quite a way!

My dogs do not know to get out of the way of bikes outside as they are used to laying in front of them in the house! Luckily they do stay away from the pedals.

Ah...the dreaded head cold. I've been dealing with that going on 2 weeks now! It seems it might be spreading from blog to blog!! LOL!

Loving the AToC coverage...that was a great climb by Levi yesterday.

Glad to hear your knee is better.

neck up means you can ride-no excuses ;)
that looks so much fun being able to ride/race virtual/real courses.

Glenn, *2 weeks*?! I hope you are starting to feel better! I was hoping it wouldn't be a long cold, but seems like it might be.

That looks so cool, riding the hills at the same time as the pros, it might even persuade me to get a turbo!

I think my dog is in love with Chris Carmichael, he just assumes the same position as your dog when I am doing the DVD's and goes to sleep, dreaming of "putting money in the bank"....Dogs are so cute.....if only they knew how hard some of these workouts are...

That looks exactly like the set up we had for ToC ... computer hooked up to TV!
